Scheduling social media posts

Social Planner allows you to automatically share your website content to your connected social media accounts.

Instead of posting manually every time you publish new content, you can create schedules that automatically share your content at specific times and intervals.

This helps keep your social media active and ensures your content is shared consistently.

Creating a Social Post Schedule

You can create schedules that automatically share your website content across your connected social platforms.

Create a schedule

  1. Log in to your Create A Shoppe dashboard.
  2. Click Social Planner in the left menu.
  3. Open Post Schedules.
  4. Click Create Schedule.

Configure Your Schedule

When creating a schedule, you will configure several options that control how and when content is shared.

Schedule Name

Give your schedule a name so you can easily identify it later.

Examples:

• Blog Sharing
• Product Promotions
• Weekly Content

Start Date and Time

Choose the date and time when the schedule should begin.

The first social post will be published at the selected time.

Make sure your website timezone is set correctly so scheduling works as expected.

Post Interval

The interval controls how often new content will be shared.

Example:

If the interval is set to 1 hour:

• the first post publishes at the start time
• the next post publishes 1 hour later
• each additional post follows the same interval

Intervals help space out your social media posts so they appear naturally throughout the day.

Post Order

You can control the order in which content is shared.

Available options include:

• random order without repeating posts
• random order
• oldest content first
• newest content first

This allows you to customize how your content appears on social media.

Choosing Which Content to Share

Social Planner allows you to filter which content is included in your schedule.

You can filter by:

• publish date
• content type
• category
• tag
• specific items

For example, you might create a schedule that shares:

• blog articles
• product updates
• posts from a specific category

Filtering helps ensure only the most relevant content is shared.

Selecting Social Media Accounts

After configuring your schedule, choose the social media accounts where content should be published.

  1. Select one or more connected accounts.
  2. Customize the social message if needed.
  3. Save the schedule.

Your content will automatically be shared to the selected platforms.

Customizing Social Post Messages

You can customize the message that appears when your content is shared.

Each platform can have its own message.

Messages can include dynamic information such as:

• content title
• content link
• featured image

This helps your posts look natural and engaging on each social network.

Editing or Pausing a Schedule

You can manage your schedules anytime from the Social Planner dashboard.

Available actions include:

• editing schedule settings
• pausing a schedule
• deleting a schedule

This allows you to adjust your posting strategy whenever needed.

Tips for Better Social Scheduling

To get the best results from Social Planner:

• share a mix of content types
• space posts evenly throughout the day
• avoid posting too frequently
• update your schedules regularly

Planning your content in advance helps maintain a consistent social media presence.
